This is the highest-grade Wagyu beef, carefully selected from cattle raised in the rich natural environment of Echizen and Wakasa, known for their diverse seasons and fertile land. Wakasa Beef refers to purebred Japanese Black cattle with clear lineage, raised for at least 12 months in Fukui Prefecture. Only high-quality Wagyu beef that meets the Grade 3 or higher beef carcass grading standard and has a BMS (Beef Marbling Standard) score of 4 or higher is sold as "Wakasa Beef."
The beef is known for its finely marbled fat and tender texture, offering a sweet, melt-in-your-mouth experience with a clean aftertaste. It is a highly regarded branded ingredient, representative of Fukui Prefecture.
